                 At Bardwell Farms, we take great pride in the cattle we raise and want to make sure each animal goes to a farm where it will be well cared for and given the opportunity to thrive.

Care & Placement of Cattle

  We reserve the right to decline a sale if, in our judgment, the prospective farm or farmer is not an appropriate environment for the humane and responsible care of cattle from Bardwell Farms. Our goal is to place our cattle with people who share our commitment to proper animal care, good husbandry, and responsible farming.

Fencing & Pasture Management

 Our cattle are accustomed to being managed with electric fencing, our permanent perimeter fencing consists of four-strand high-tensile electric fence. We also use temporary electric poly-wire reels to rotationally graze our pastures.

  Purchasers should be prepared to provide secure, appropriate fencing and pasture management suitable for cattle. Cattle that are accustomed to electric fencing should be introduced to their new fencing system properly and given adequate time to become familiar with their new surroundings.

 The cattle pictured or listed are only a portion of the cows and cow-calf pairs we currently have available. If you are interested in purchasing cattle from Bardwell Farms but don't see exactly what you are looking for, please reach out to us. We may have additional cows, calves, bulls, or cow-calf pairs available that are not currently listed.

  We are happy to provide additional information, including pedigrees, registration information, DNA/genetic information, calving history, and other details when available.
